Sr. Contract Analyst
Perform day-to-day responsibilities as follows:
Send BA Setup Form to new Counterparties to set up Master Product Sales Agreements, Facility Access Agreements, and various transportation carrier service type contracts; review all information for accuracy before submitting to BA Group for setup
Review requests for updating Counterparty changes related to carrier contracts before submitting to BA Group
Prepare contracts, amendments and terminations as appropriate for the life of contracts
Prepare Riders (confirmation) and draft language as needed for review by legal and Commercial Transportation Rep
Work closely with Legal, Risk, Commercial Reps and Commercial Transportation Reps
Notify Commercial and Transportation Reps of upcoming critical dates in the contracts and Riders
Log and track documents for execution
Prepare contract brief for updating system
Work with Risk, EBIX and Carriers to resolve COI deficiencies on a quarterly basis
Forward documents timely for filing and scanning
Update systems upon receipt of executed documents
Process name changes and contract assignments, as may be requested
Schedule and lead monthly carrier status meeting
Maintain carrier status spreadsheet used for monthly meetings
• College Degree or High School Diploma and work experience in the energy business
• Results driven, takes initiative, accountable and responsible, can work independently and within/across teams
• Must be able to multi-task and effectively prioritize in a fast paced environment
• Ability to effectively communicate with different levels AND remain calm in high pressure situations
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have an aptitude with various systems including the ability to easily learn new software
• Able to work efficiently in an open work area
Preferred Qualifications
• 5 to 10 years energy experience working in/preparing contracts preferably with Facility Access, Transportation Carrier Services (related to barge, rail and truck, and Certificate of Insurance), NGL masters, NAESB and transportation contracts
